Colors on Parade began in 1987 with a vision to provide the automotive industry body shop quality repairs from a mobile unit, thus allowing services to be conducted on the customer’s own site; all while maintaining cost-effective pricing. In 1988, the vision was implemented - the first Colors on Parade began operating in South Carolina. In 1991, the first Colors on Parade franchise was granted in North Carolina.

In the years that followed, Colors on Parade grew with a record number of new franchises being granted throughout the U.S. By 1999, Colors on Parade expanded its customer base of car dealerships to include other fleet owners such as rental car agencies and casket manufacturers / distributors. By this period, the expansion crossed state lines with services now being offered in 23 states.

By the turn of the century, Colors on Parade began developing the model for servicing the retail customers. Implementation of this program is expected in 2007.

Colors On Parade recently launched a new look and advertising campaign which evokes the spirit of our brand and our franchise system.
